Health Programs

HIV/AIDS Program
The school-based HIV/AIDS Program seeks to empower school districts to provide more effective prevention and risk reduction activities that help youths avoid HIV infection, identify HIV status, and access HIV/AIDS services needed to prevent further transmission. In addition, AYC also offers free anonymous and confidential HIV counseling and testing by appointment only.

The program also provides free HIV testing and counseling by appointment only.

Tobacco Control and Prevention Program
The Tobacco Control and Prevention Program seeks to work with local communities to reduce environmental tobacco smoke. The program empowers the community to advocate for policies that promote smoke free areas and healthy lifestyles.

Traffic Safety Education Program
The Traffic Safety Education Program provides pedestrian and proper car seat safety education to schools and community members. The program also distributes free car seats and booster seats to those who attend the educational presentation.
