The school-based HIV/AIDS Program
seeks to empower school districts to provide more effective
prevention and risk reduction activities that help youths avoid
HIV infection, identify HIV status, and access HIV/AIDS services
needed to prevent further transmission. In addition, AYC also
offers free anonymous and confidential HIV counseling and testing
by appointment only.
The program also provides free HIV testing and counseling by
appointment only.

Tobacco Control and Prevention
Program
The Tobacco Control and Prevention Program
seeks to work with local communities to reduce environmental
tobacco smoke. The program empowers the community to advocate
for policies that promote smoke free areas and healthy lifestyles.

Anger Management Program
The Asian Youth Center is the certified anger management specialist for the San Gabriel Valley to assist those struggling with anger, to improve relationships, to regain control over their feelings, and to develop peace of mind. Chinese anger management workbooks have just been translated from Anderson & Anderson English workbook 'GAINING CONTROL OF OURSELVES.'
